Obsessed With Train Toy??

Ah.. I am thinking if I am the one obsessed with Dylan's toy. The latest toy collection is Tomy train set. Dylan like the train set altho he doesn't really know how to play.
I went ahead also to buy the additional track for it. Too bad one of the track set has 2 tracks instead of 1 track. Any how, it still can be used. Just that the tracks are not complete yet for the train to run on without falling off the track :)

Now should I go ahead to complete the track??? I just felt it is not complete yet ....

Just hope that Dylan will be grown up enough to play with the train sensibly.... :)

joy ride

Yesterday I brought Dylan to Bukit Jalil park near vista komanwel where I lived many years ago. Once he was on the jogging track, he was running like a adult. I should have bring him to jogging more often. Too bad last few days it was always raining in the evening. So I can only bring him to shopping mall.

I brought him to ride on the LRT after the jogging session. He was very happy sitting in the train. We just ride to Chan Saw Lin station and then turn back. On the way back, he wanted to exit whenever the door was opened :) hahaha....

Next I bring him to carrefour to buy something. He was happy to ride in the buggy that was attached to the shopping cart and didn't want to leave it.

I guess he had a fun day out....

Everyone is Nai Nai

Nowaday Dylan called every one 'Nai Nai'. His nanny said he is following her granddaughter calling her using this name. We think he doesn't know what does Nai Nai means. For him it is just a way to get intended person's attention to his request.

I would try to corrent him when he called me Nai Nai. Ask him to say Mummy. Sometime he get it with a not so perfect pronounciation - muyi.... He can call his daddy quite correctly with Daddy though... That's because I always tell him Daddy this, Daddy that. There is no one to tell him mummy this mummy that... so mummy to him is non-existant.

He can call cats with 'ngiao' but with Mimi I specifically ask him to call her Mimi. :) By the way, I took shower for Mimi yesterday after 1 year :) hahahaha....

He pronounce uncle as unerrr.... car as errr.... can't pronounce well the R sound....

He pronounce 'chong liang' (shower) with different tone :)

Need a Break

Recently, I was quite tired of working life. It is kind of routine. But really still have to work la... to earn some living for old age retirement :).

But again, I think I need to take vacation. And this project that I am doing now seem like non-ending. So I can't predict when I can take leave. And even I take leave, not sure where should I visit. I was thinking of Miri, to spend some time with his family and the kids. Or, going to Memphis to visit my sister there seem I haven't visited her since she move to their new home.

As far as Las Vegas is concern, I think I will pass that :) Coz for me it is just a gambling city that only is beautiful when the nite come. While in Memphis, may be this time I spend more time exploring the city ? :) Of coz, not forgettting Miri, since Sandra mentioned she prefer to stay in Miri than in Sibu. So I guess Miri will have its share of charm.

Hari Raya is around the corner, just around this coming weekend. Didn't have plan so far where to go yet. My mind cannot rest well with the office work lingering around ;( But nowaday, I am better in putting thing down when necessary. That will be a little bit less stressful huh... *sign*...

Share Blanket Together

Yesterday afternoon during nap time, as usual I giveDylan a bottle of water to help his lunch digestion which he took in his bed with blanket on. Later when he was ready to sleep he woke up and then doing something to his blanket so that some part of his blanket is covering me.Not too much, may be only 2% :) As he turned over to sleep, I re-adjust his blanket so that he is properly cover at the body half down. He turned to look my site and started crying. I tot the blanket didn't cover his leg good enough, so I re-adjusted it again. He didn't seem to like it so he woke up again and do his blanket again. Then again turned over to sleep. I do the re-adjustment again and then he noticed it and start crying. It repeated many times. Then I finally got it that he want to share the blanket with me ;) Only then he didn't make any fuss. :) hahahaha....

Nowaday, he will wake me up by force-opening my eyelid and kissed me several time on my cheek :) aiyoh.... so sleepy also hv to wake up lo .... I measured him and he grow 1 inch taller then last measurement. He is growing fast. His appetite seem to be bigger after recovered from the food-poisoning :)

Yesterday evening, I brought him to Jusco as usual for some out of the house atmosphere. When I was still wondering whether need to buy the extra blanket and also doubting the quality of the blankets, he spot the children fun centre again and begged me to bring him there. I have to use this opportunity to train him to be patient. He is to wait until I finish my shopping and queue and paid for the items. Surprisingly he was quite agreeable with what I said. He helped to carry the little tubler ware and queue at the cashier counter. Later we had dinner at McDonald to have his favorite Mc Nugget and Fries. Then only I brought him to the playground. As usual he likes to ride on Merry Go Round several times.

At least now he can listen to instruction not to go in to the escalator by him self. Of course I have to be firmed to him .... So it is like very stern mother's voice in the shopping mall talking to his son ;) ... well, no choice .....

Education - thinking ahead

Monday
Was chatting with Sandra on Skype this morning. She are busy most of the days now. Siet is opening up a hardware trading shop. She is helping up with all the paper works. Sometime she took leave to look after thing regarding the new shop.

We talk about PC connection to the internet at her home. She wanted to have it as well as one in Siet's office. I cautious her on the kids additive to PC game. Only I learnt she has quite some house rule for the kids. No TV from Mon-Fri. Only on weekend :) No wonder her kids academic result is so good :) Strict mummy... following mother's style??? Remember that as we were small, we used to peek the TV from the door's key hole or half way from the stair case. ... hahaha ... She also coached her kids homework. I was worried if I can achieve that the next time with Dylan. May be Dylan will be like most of the city kid being sent to tution centre half of the day which I don'tquite like the idea. In my opinion, those tuition centre are scam to cheat poor parent hard earn money with no guarantee result or cheated result... A lot of scam has been reported lately on exam paper leak in tuition centre. I was wondering how ? And it is such a bad thing to happen. What happen to the real education ... That's why I still prefer to send Dylan to be educated oversea....

Getting Better

After almost a week, Dylan is finally recovered from the food poisoning. And his appetite is picking up. Only once in a while, he is pretending to vomit to avoid me putting more food to his mouth. :) Nanny also mentioned that he will exclaim if the movie scene had people vomitting :).... He made sound like 'errr, errr' to tell u he want to vomit but actually he is not.

I guess he must have lost at least 3 kg from the food poisoning. His waistline is obviously smaller and his chest size from the backview also seemingly narrower. When he raise his hand, can see spare ribs :)

Last Friday at the company's hosted buffet dinner for CIMB group's staff, I also didn't dare to run for the foods especially the oyster. Scared my tummy cannot take it. But I can't resist the sushi fresh salmon's meat :) I ate them with lot of ginger though.... :)
