HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008 !!!

Holiday Season is here already... Well, I know, I am a bit late in writing about it ... but here I am finally.

This holiday season is filled with office work, which is very unfortunate. Didn't get any time to do thing that I planned to do. I planned to buy something for every one in office and a gift for Farokh too... But it ended up, I needed to work over the weekend leading towards the Christmas day. I brought Dylan with me to the office. I just missed seeing him during weekend. The office air-cond is not functioning well. So it was very bad feeling toward the end of the day. I think Dylan also feel the same too.

We did went up to Genting Highland. But it is too crowded and there is no park outside for us to relax. So I rated the trip as not worthwhile and it made me want to think if next time I will ever go up again. Luckily I didn't bring Ruth's family up there last time. =P

New Year 2008 is just next week. Don't know if I can make any thing happen or no...
Well, I like to join some countdown in the town but don't know how to handle little Dylan :)

Or just drive out and see the fire work from far ? Well.... we shall see !!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE OUT THERE !!

huhhh ....

Dylan is starting to get curious and wanting confirmation of what he see and learnt. He will use 'huhhhh....' to get affirmation. Although some time I don't quite understand what he is trying to say., I will just say 'yes'. Hopefully I said 'yes' to the correct thing also. =)

Trying to get him to try out every thing that interest him is a way to get him to explore the world around him. Too bad that now his world is a lot confine to the house only. Only weekend he will get the chance to out with me. But that is only to the shopping mall....
Was thinking of bringing him to the zoo one of the weekend to see some real animals....

Now he can repeat many words after me. Like yesterday he wanted to play with umbrella. So I teach him how to pronounce 'umbrella' both in English and Mandarin. Dunno if today he will remember or no ...

Last nite he was murmuring taxi in his dream and later woke up crying for milk =)....
I guess he is too boring staying at nanny house oredy whole day long. Today he will have a long day there as we have a company dinner at La Ramla.... Hope he won't be missing us :P

Sickly Us

We found ourselves catching cold from somewhere. So the days following Ruth's departure were spent making ourselves well. One day I just fall asleep on the couch. Dylan also didn't hv good appetite for lunch.
These few days, Dylan also feel not so energetic and want to oik-oik earlier than usual. Even in the last Tick-Tock-Beat class, he didn't move as much as he used to be. Just stand at his colour pad observing what Ms Lee is doing.

The next class will be starting at 9am as Ms Lau said they have a christmas concert at 10:30 am. I hope dylan is well enough to get up early and finish his milk at least in time for the class. :)

Great Get Together

Ruth was here last week from Sun 25th Nov till Wed 28 Nov 07. I took some leave to spend time together with her family. I had a great pleasure to take care of LL as when she permitted. LL is a fussy eater. I was wondering how she can grow healthly :) I guess kid has naturally instinct to survive. She will ask for food whenever we were eating :) But so far she were eating outside food more than home cook food.

Dylan had a great time competing with his cousin sister. He cannot tolerate her taking his toys. They will chase after each other to get thing back :) Too bad I didn't hv the camera ready to capture the funny scene.

Ruth's family woke up late every day. Initially I thought of having breakfast with them at the shophouses there every day. Later I see that is not possible. Michael will buy whatever was for breakfast as a late supper :) He was really a good appetite to eat a lot of food at one time. Bob said it was understandable as Malaysia food can hardly be found in the States.

Finally we said good bye to them on Wednesday nite. Lucikily they found their PR card in the airport. That was a real scare. On the way to pick up Farokh from the train station, my mind was so tensed becoz of this. I prayed to God that every thing will be ok at the end, even if they really cannot find their Green Card, that the immigresen officer will let them fly to US and that they will get the documents from their respective bosses. I guessed God hear my prayer then .... Tks God...

I wish we have a longer time together. Just notice that me and Ruth doesn't have a picture together .... Guess we were too busy minding the kids ...
