Ready for Independent Day

I nearly forgot to mention that Dylan now are being to sing Nation Anthem song. He can't really sing from begining but he does know how to end it with 'takhta' =) I first notice when he was humming a new song. Then I gradually catch that it was a 'Negaraku' song. I guess the school practice it with the children once in a while ... I sing Selamat Ber... then Dylan finished it with 'takhta'.

Stomach Upset Boy

Dylan has a strange illness that has been bothering him for the past few weeks. He stomach will be upset whenever he eat some food. The last time the doctor said he had wind in his stomach. He didn't hv diahrea the last time round. Just vomitting food out whenever he drink milk before bedtime. Tis time round, he has complained of stomach pain and then follow by diahrea plus sometime vomitting. I give him the colimix medicine from last prescribtion, but it doesn't seem to help him. Tonite, I will need to bring him to see Dr Ong again. =(

Today I allowed him to visit KLCC Skybridge and Aquaria KLCC despite of his occasionally complaint of stomach upset. He ate a 3 quarter of plain bun and a glass of milk. Hopefully he doesn't feel stomach upset again. I let him lay down for some minutes before dressing up in his school uniform. I bought him a cloth sneaker / sport shoe for this purpose.

Occasionally peeking out of the office window, see if I can see school of Q-Dee kids or not. But they are no where in sight.

Hopefully Dylan enjoy his trip despite his stomach upset. Cheer up Boy.

I Am Three Years Old

Dylan is officially 3 years old on the 2nd May 2008. I throw a party for him and invited colleagues cum friends to join us. Well, Dylan of coz won't know it was for him but he did like the candle blowing and cake cutting part =)

He got a lot of toys from my friend: Remote Control Car, Remote Control Running Ant, Punching Beg, A walking Robot, fishing game, a Lego Set and 2 books. He likes the fishing games more than the others toys. This one tests his fishing skill and eye obversation and quickiness .... The adult also join in the catch in the begining =)
With the 2 news book, I got new story to tell him before bedtime. =)

Just hope that he many happiness return in his growing up years !! *muck muck*

Approaching Three Year Old

Less than few more day, Dylan will be turning 3 on coming 2 May, 2008. I am wishing big for him to be able to take on the world around him. Too ambitious mother huh... well, which mother doesn't think big for their kids ?

For the past month, there is a lot of event going on in his life. We went for his Uncle Bruce wedding on the 26 March 2008. And of coz we were going by plane. This time, he was more enjoying his plane flight and insisted to be seat at the window seat. In his eagerness to see the plane took off, he rather not to be put on seat belt. So as u could imagine, there were crying and screaming ...=) We spent good time there with all the relatives. Apart from the eating issues, every thing was fined. Now he got to really know there were grandma, grandpa, auntie Florence and uncle bruce real well. We went to sarikei too to visit Florence's family. On the way we had ferry ride which was an exiciting thing for Dylan too.

Farokh was away from us from 15 March till 12 April all this while. We were coping well during his absence and thing kind of under control la. Dylan started schooling by begining of March 2008. Now he is enjoying his school time. He will repeatedly say that 'Mummy go work work, Daddy go work work, boy boy go school'.... He will also sing some song with movement in front of me =)....

The last week he was down with flu, coughing, fever ... till now he is not fully recovered yet. May be becoz of the full pop-corn that I bought for him. *sign*.... He had drank a lot of medicine already. Not sure if I need to open the new bottle of medicine or not for his flame... *sign*....

This weekend we want to hold a mini gathering with friends for his birthday =) Hope he will have a great time !!!

First Burger

Last Saturday, we went to Jusco Cheras Selatan to buy some gift for Maisie house warming party. I bought a nice key hanger with picture on it. During lunch time, I bought a McSaver Fish Fillet burger for Dylan, hoping that he won't reject it =) Hold and behold, he quite like it and finish the whole burger while playing with dough given by Auntie Anne girl, to prevent him from running into her stall =)

What language to speak :)

Dylan is now sort of confusing between mandarin and english.. I belive he knows more english than mandarin... may be is my fault that I didn't speak more mandarin to him :) altho sub-conciously I think i speak mandarin to him. But whenever he mentioned some thing in english, I start speaking english to him. And he listen to Disney channel, which are all english cartoons =)

Dylan also know his name is Dylan, Daddy name is 'Farokh' or firework =) and mummy name is Doris =) And start to recognize different colour name, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Orange. I use the traiffic light to make sure he is correct with red and green colour =)
I told him Red colour Stop and Green colour Go. Now every time we passed a traffic light, he will say those words =)

The teacher is teaching him square, triangle and circle after snack time =) now he know how to pronouce triangle =)

This week is term break and dylan no need to go to school.. Hopefully when the term starts next week, he will not refuse to go to school :)

Last day of First Term

Today Dylan didn't cry when I sent him to school. I guess he is comfy with Teacher Chris oredy :) and he let teacher Chris hold his hand and walk inside the house after saying bye-bye to me =). I put a chocolate sweet in his beg just in case he will cry =)

When mum was here, she also prepared steam eye-yolk with chicken soup. He ate it when mum was feeding him (coz I was at work). But come weekend, he didn't want to eat =( and then after that when mum is also not around, he also didn't like to eat. Not sure if he is sick of it or what.... But I guess he like to try new food every time... Auntie nanny told me not to give nice food from outside to dylan to eat wor... I was thinking, not nice food, then I should give bad taste food to him ?! This has made me to re-think if i need to hire a maid at home instead... May be we can re-think again this matter once I hv my salary increased this year =) and if there is a baby on the way... God Willing ..

Teacher Chris told me today that there is party and why is Dylan in school uniform. Well, nobody told me about it. So I ask Chris to help Dylan changed to casual clothing from his beg. Still no book yet, according to Chris. Books will only be given in Second Term. OK .....

Nowaday Dylan cannot be fed too full. At the end, he will vomit every thing out =)

4th Day in School

Today Dylan also didn't let me go. I asked him to take off his shoes to go in. He asked me to take off my shoes also =). Since the principal is there oredy and I need to talk to her on some matter, I took off my shoes and go in also. Dylan stick to me like glue inside. And when I am done and want to leave he also follow me out and want to wear his shoe =) ... I have ask the teacher to hold him so that I can escape =)... it is kind of emotional :)

Nowaday Dylan doesn't really at too much food. The habit of holding the food in his mouth come back again. So I tell him, if not eating food, there will be no cartoon for u , no going to Jusco (shopping mall) for u .... But I don't know if he get it or no :) Swing my mood a bit when thinking about it ...

Second Day at School

Dylan had pee on his pant yesterday. I think he didn't like other people to help him to sit on the toilet seat. and din't dare to tell teacher he want to pee. =) So today I bring a potty to the kindergarden. But the auntie said there is one potty there. She need to put at the place where Dylan can see it...

Also, he refused to ride home in the afternoon in auntie's wong van. Not sure why. So the guy teacher hv to help him in =)

Today, he kind of realise that I will not be around for long there. He was crying and push me in to the kindergarden as well and tell me said bye-bye to Farokh in the car =) .... Before that, when I tell him we are going to school, he said school is closed .... :) So auntie have to carry him in so that I can sneak out of the school =(

First Day at Pre-School

Today I brought Dylan to attend his first-attempt at pre-school at Q-Dees. At first he is a bit shy to sit together with his friends at the reading table. He quickly make friends with his neighbour. There is teacher Chris and a guy teacher (don't know his name yet). Teacher Pei Pei is teaching the 6-year old at the other class.

Teacher Chris ask Dylan to do some art work. That is to stick some paper ball on to the hair of little girl drawing. He likes the pasting work. But he doesn't hv enough patient. His friend help finish it at the end =)..

During snack time, he asked for 3 serving of poridge. The quantity is like 1 half bowl of poridge compare to normal standard. It is a good sign since he ask for additional poridge and eat all by himself.

After snack time, it was singing time. Teacher on the computer and every body sing and dance to the music.

There is other kid who also be categorized at EPS1. Later he and this kid just play along at the EPS room while other older kid went to have ABC class.

Tomorrow he will hv his second day and hopefully next week he can be by him self oredy. =)

Happy Chinese New Year

Four day Chinese New Year holiday is over and I am back to work today. Dylan learn to play some small firework. And trained not so scare of the firework sound any more. We didn't visit any friends, may be I am lazy and that with the thinking that friend local here will be busy with their own visiting as well. Furthermore, Dylan was falling sick from fever for having a sore throat. I think he has a great time spending time with the family. I bought some vitamines for him to take daily. Hopefully his immune system will be stronger then. Don't know if it is because of the water playing outside or from the food, that he got an sored throat. Or may be from eating too much sweet that day. Hope he will get well soon.

Mum was here since 1 Feb but hv to go back Kuching suddenly on last Friday. 4th uncle has a minor accident and there is no body to take care of him.

In-secure Society

Nowaday there was a lot of crime happening just around my friends.
First, office was robbed of 9 newest notebooks and some personal items.
Second, one of my colleague's friend's 3 notebooks was taken from the car trunk.
Third, Weng Kit and Weng Chin handphone get stolen ....

Well, it is like where is the law kind of question?

New Year is coming and all the less well to do people are trying to get their bonus by taking away somebody's else belonging.

So what did the policeman do ? They just sit around and do nothing, not even collecting evident that can lead to the would be criminal. I am wondering what they do with all the fingerprint database that is collected by using mykad. Is it just for style purposes or can they be put to more crime combating strategy? Police man just said, "Ya, ini perkara biasa !!" and smile at u !!! shit...

No wonder the crime rate is so rampant la... no enforcement la... u can't catch me la ... what can u do la, lauzy policemen... if u can, go after me la ... That is what all the would be criminal think ...

Why the goverment spend billion to buy jet ? U can even prevent your own citizen to behave well, or protect the rakyat from the evil rakyat, u expect u can protect the country when WAR is here ?? !!!

What to buy for Chinese New Year ?!! HELP

Chinese New Year is around the corner, on the 7th and 8th Feb 2008. Mum is coming on the 1st Feb.

And the big question is: What to prepare for the Chinese New Year 2008 !!

There were 2 trips I made with the intention of buying stuff' for the new year.
During the first trip to Jusco, I went to buy drinks, and grocery that was on the news that has shortage like flour and the cooking oil. Well got to take some precautious too, since the shelf is really sort of empty on that sort of thing. Got some drinks in the list too.... Guess I no need to buy a new pack of rice now coz the existing one still half beg full and is currently infested with rice bug. I have tried to get rid of it by putting the rice beg under the sun. Guess it doens't work at all. Well it is my fault at the first place, the bug is coming out from the rice noodle tin that I forgot to close the other day. Now I had thrown away the culprit tin already. Mum is going to bring a fresh tin of rice noodle for me again :)

Second time we went to Tesco, Kajang. I got one chong sam shirt for Dylan. When I tried it on him. He doesn't really like to wear it. May be he doesn't like shirt with Button. Hopefully he will like to wear it for first day for Chinese New Year. The shirt were looking good on LL. :) Next I bought several chocalate pack for visiting. As for tit-bit, not really want to spend on those as learnt from experience from previous year, there is a lot of left over :) ....

Ibought some decorative stuff for the new year from the open market. Will look great on the front door at least. Farokh is going to paint the living room Aqua white colour which is closed to light colour. That will be nice too. Hopefully he has enough stamina to finish the work. As for last week, he rested on Saturday and only start working on the grill upstair. So it was only half way done now. We changed the grill to white colour to be the same as the rest of the grill colour.


Next thing on my list will be to get some new notes from the bank :) Will visit Ambank during the weekend to do it then...

pre-schooling or not

New Year come and I have new thing to think about- Dylan schooling.... Now I am in great dilemma whether want to send Dylan to pre-school or no. I asked auntie if she can reduce her nanny fee when Dylan starts schooling. She only reduced it to RM450 which is only RM50 less. She said she still need to feed Dylan and that food price is ever increasing everyday and that she never complain when we were late to pick dylan up.

Well, those facts are true also. Other nanny is charging RM 650 for kid of Dylan age. So we try to think if there is alternative way. We start to search for maid and calling around maid agency. The fee is quite absobit to RM 7500 and the maid monthly fee now is RM500 to RM 530.

And Cambodia maid doens't speak English !!! To avoid communication break down, we may need to hire Indonesia maid instead.

Dylan pre-school fee is not cheap too. Close to RM 3600 per year. So is like RM300 per month. Transport fee is RM 55 round trip or RM 35 one way.

So I guess we have to watch our budget ...especially if there is a new baby on the way ....
